Get out into the great outdoors and experience Alberta's natural appeal. Brooks is a small town located just a short distance from several attractions and outdoor recreation spots. Check out a few of our favourites.

1) Dinosaur Provincial Park

Find out all about the Badlands and the Grasslands Natural Region at this world-famous facility. Dinosaur Provincial Park is also a great place to learn about prehistoric beasts that once roamed the land, as more than 150 dinosaur skeletons have been unearthed in the area. You can take tours, attend programs and events, and obtain information about local plants and animals.

2) Kinbrook Island Provincial Park

While visiting Brooks, you should take a drive out to gorgeous Kinbrook Island Provincial Park. Take a day trip and sample the hiking, swimming, canoeing and other activities, or set up your RV at the park's campsite and get better acquainted with the wealth of recreational potential.

3) The Newell Concert Association

Brooks residents and visitors are fortunate enough to have a selection of golf courses to choose from. There are both nine- and 18-hole options, and all of them offer astounding views of the Prairies.

5) The Brooks Aqueduct

Considered a local landmark, the Brooks Aqueduct National and Provincial Historic Site was constructed 80 years ago and marked a significant step in the engineering technology of the time. Now the structure serves as a monument to the pioneers who worked and lived here.
