The best places to eat in B.C.
Try out one of these top restaurants in B.C., and you'll have a meal to write home about
Most RVers cook the majority of meals at their campsites, but when they do go out to eat, they want a memorable experience. B.C. is blessed with a wealth of local ingredients, so it's no shock that there is an array of eateries waiting to indulge your palate with your favourite style of cuisine. Our last RVwest issue focused on a culinary theme; be sure to check out our e-magazine to see what we discovered.
In the meantime, we have curated a few of last issue's top restaurant picks from beautiful B.C.:
Shuswap Chefs, Salmon Arm
Shuswap Chefs in Salmon Arm offers a small but unique and exquisite menu brimming with fresh entrees made from local ingredients.
The Pear Tree, Burnaby
The creative menu here (we're talking orange caramelized scallops, "lobster cappuccino" and a wicked crème brûlée), includes locally sourced and ethically produced food that will tempt the pickiest diner.
Raudz Regional Table, Kelowna
This popular restaurant bills itself as “fresh, local, comfortable.” It focuses on food grown in the region and serves only Okanagan wines.
Nk'Mip Cellars Patio Restaurant, Osoyoos
While its restaurant is closed in winter, Nk'Mip Cellars is a must if you come in the warmer seasons. The intimate bistro offers farm-to-table fine dining in a gorgeous setting, and is open daily for lunch at 11:30 a.m. and for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays at 5 p.m. (reservations recommended).
Beachhouse Restaurant and Lounge, Vancouver
Famous for its signature West Coast cuisine and 180-degree ocean views, the Beachhouse has been a must-visit North Shore dining experience forever.
