Moricetown offers First Nations heritage and warm hospitality

Located 30 kilometres west of Smithers, Moricetown is a Wet'suwet'en village. The local Moricetown Band members are proud of their First Nations culture, and visitors can have the opportunity to learn fascinating facts about local history. The Moricetown Interpretive Centre is a great place to start.

There are a number of RV sites in and around Moricetown, so RVers can enjoy camping in the scenic outdoors. If you seek outdoor recreation, check out Moricetown Canyon—a breathtaking area that delights hikers and photographers. The local First Nations people still engage in traditional salmon fishing here each season.
