The District of Lake Country offers RVing visitors everything they could possibly want. There are 20 parks in the area, 14 of which have public swimming beaches on Wood, Kalamalka and Okanagan lakes. There are also smaller lakes and resorts at Beaver, Dee and Oyama lakes, where visitors can fish, go boating in small watercraft, snowshoe, hike or snowmobile. This sunny, semi-arid community has the makings of a perfect RV destination. The South Saskatchewan River Valley runs through the middle of the city, making it a lush oasis and giving rise to more than 100 city parks.
