From camping to cycling to county fairs, Eureka is a laid-back community with small-town charm. Bring the family along and show them some of these top things to see and do.

1) Glacier National Park

Within a short drive of Eureka, Glacier National Park awaits. As you might have guessed by its name, the landscape in this park was formed by glacial activity, so geology buffs will consider this a must-see location. There is also a rich First Nations history here, and innumerable wildlife viewing and recreational opportunities.

2) Tobacco Valley Historical Village

At Tobacco Valley Historical Village, guests can see authentic heritage buildings from the 1880s to the 1920s. Each building is decked out with artifacts from the time period, making it feel like you're truly stepping back in history.

3) Kootenai National Forest

At the Kootenai National Forest, there is a ton of recreational opportunity around every corner. You can hike in the woods, go camping and fishing, and teach the little ones about nature in all its glory. There are also cycling trails and lovely views for photographers.

4) The Eureka Quilt Show

Whether you like to quilt or just appreciate the final product, the Eureka Quilt Show is for you. This outdoor event shows off some of the greatest local talent that Eureka has to offer.

5) The Lincoln County Fair

This laid-back country festival takes place all across the Tobacco Valley and centres in Eureka. Kids and adults alike can appreciate the exciting events, such as wheelbarrow races, horse and dog shows, rodeo, a petting zoo and more.
