Events and adventures in Harrison Mills
Bring the family and have a blast at one of Harrison Mills' annual festivals.
Harrison Mills might be a small town, but it has big personality. There is a continuous lineup of festivals and events that offer something for people of all ages.
Celebration central
The Harrison Festival Society brings the party to town, by organizing annual events that appeal to arts and culture enthusiasts.
For example, there is the Harrison Festival of the Arts. It takes place each year in July, and has been highlighting local artists for nearly four decades.
The organization also puts on the Harrison Country Craft Market on the Labour Day weekend (the 2017 market is being held September 2nd and 3rd at the Harrison Memorial Hall). The indoor market has live music, unique art pieces for sale, organic food items and a variety of locally made crafts at its vendor booths.
Keep checking the society's website to find out what they have on the schedule during your visit.
Bands on the Beach
While you're in town for the Labour Day weekend activities, don't forget to check out Bands on the Beach. As of 2017, it's been running for five years and shows no signs of stopping.
This is a relaxing affair, with attendees lounging in lawn chairs and listening to live bluegrass, indie and country music.

Harrison Lakefront Car Show
Taking place on August 26th, 2017, the Harrison Lakefront Car Show is another must-attend event. In addition to the stunning vintage cars that will be on display, there will also be live entertainment, and several door prizes.
