We go to this campsite every year. We park in a Date Plantation. These trees aren't palm trees they are Date Trees. It's fun seeing all the dates coming down in November.
"Grand Forks is a great place to camp and explore. The Municipal Campground is a central and very popular RV site adjacent to the Kettle River. There are many other spots to camp also. On June 24, 2017 Gallery 2 is hosting their Garden Tour. What a wonderful way to spend a weekend, camping and having the opportunity to peek into some of the private sanctuaries of local green thumbs and gardening afficienados. Our recent trip to "Crazy Horse Memorial". The memorial is a mountain sized caving. At its completion nearly twice the size of Mount Rushmore. Started by a lone carver in 1947 the memorial has been "a work in progress for over 60 years.
