Most RVers don’t just sit around their campsites—they want to get out and see the sights, and they want to stay active. If you love to ATV, bike or do other activities requiring equipment—you might benefit from a toy hauler RV.

Toy haulers are designed to allow you to store your ATV, bike or other outdoor recreation “toys” inside the towable unit. While they come in all shapes and sizes, including motorhome toy hauler models (or even custom units), for this list we focused on the bumper-pull and fifth-wheel styles of toy hauler.

If you’re looking for the most space possible, and the heaviest load capacity, we suggest one of the fifth-wheel toy haulers. A bumper-pull trailer will tend to have a smaller garage space and can carry less weight.

Here are a few of our top choices for both types:

Keystone has outdone itself with this series of small travel trailer toy haulers that can offer 3,500 pounds of carrying capacity. Their units weigh between 6,500 and 9,500 pounds, depending on the model.
