Roome-inations, Poems of the Pass and Beyond

These poems express a love for the region’s history.

Informed by the tradition of cowboy poetry, with historical tales depicted in rhyming couplets, Roome-inations, Poems of the Pass and Beyond conveys regional knowledge and a love of history.

A resident of the Crowsnest Pass, author Ken Roome infused his collection of 43 poems with his apparent love for and interest in his region, along with intimate observations of human feeling.

Illustrated with photos and drawings, the book is a charming immersion into a fascinating part of Canada and the people who inhabit it.

Roome-inations, Poems of the Pass and Beyond is available in the Crowsnest Pass at the Bellevue Mine, Pharmasave, Remedies Rx and the Cinnamon Bear Coffee House; in Fernie at the Fernie Historical Society Museum; and in Lethbridge at Jasmine Tearoom and Galt Museum.
