Dennis Ford of Lake Boyz RV sells RVs and park models in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. For the past 10 years, he and his family have enjoyed spending time at their summer home, a two-bedroom 12-foot by 42-foot Breckenridge park model at beautiful Candle Lake, 45 minutes northeast of Prince Albert.

Ford said that the RV community at Candle Lake is like a big family, and the lake—with its beaches that go on and on—is a perfect holiday spot for families with young children.

“The lake itself is large and deep,” Ford said, “but the main beach area is shallow for a long way out, making swimming great for small children. The kids enjoy the minigolf and the ice cream parlour, and seeing their friends every summer. We go up for the weekends in the summer, and sometimes we commute through the week too.”
